It's fair to say that Noel Gallagher is one of the major reasons a lot of students pick up the guitar in the first place, and the day we all learn how to strum Wonderwall as a student is a mega day indeed! Noel Gallagher is an incredible singer, songwriter and guitar player, and we have so much we can learn from him. He's a true master of melody, both in his chord choice as well as in his lead guitar playing. We don't need to be able to shred, we don't need a million new chord shapes, we simply need to learn how to take what we have, add a few choice extras, and make our playing come alive!

During this course we will be tackling two Noel Gallagher style tracks, both working on our rhythm, chord changing, lead and melody. We’ll talk about each skill in great depth, allowing you to properly understand how Noel plays, and how you can easily learn and play any Oasis track you want to learn in the future. When it comes to chord playing, we’ll be pushing you to take your open shapes and find new, richer voicings. This in turn will also help your chord changing and rhythm, as we gently move through some tricky strumming patterns. When it comes to lead playing, we will be exploring the major pentatonic scale, and how it is different to the minor. All in all, this course will massively upgrade your skills and have you finally understanding how Noel gets his sound.
