Dan Holton

Get the blues

From a rhythm point of view we tackle the 12 bar blues structure in great depth with quick change and slow change blues. We also look at all five dominant seventh positions across the neck, and crucially, how this all works and why it's so unique in the blues. From a lead guitar point of view we introduce the blues scale, the minor pentatonic and the minor pentatonic with the major pentatonic crossover. We also look at the techniques you need to make every single note on the guitar sing! The course levels up with every single unit and uses professionally recorded tracks to master the concepts!
